Why Support Us
On July 18, 2009, a group from Cambridge Masters Swim Club (CMSC) will be participating in the Nantasket Beach Swim. As a team, we look forward to the swim as a day of thanks for our own health, a day of honoring teamwork as a example of strength, and a day of recognizing and celebrating the larger mission of Swim Across America (SAA). We are focused on raising awareness for SAA and its mission to support Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
Everyone on our team has been touched by cancer in some way, whether an immediate family member, a close friend or relative, or a classmate or colleague through the years. We hope our contributions to Swim Across America will in some way help to put an end to this horrific disease and honor those who have lost or continue to fight the battle.
By swimming, volunteering, or donating, you have the chance to help others find a cure. Please help, however you can! Together, we all can make a difference. We welcome your good wishes and positive thoughts as we train to finish the swim.
Please join us by selecting the "Support Our Team" or "Swim with Us" links in the upper right hand corner.
P S. All contributions are tax-deductible. Please make checks payable to Swim Across America or the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

About Swim Across America
“Until there is a cure for cancer, there will always be a reason to swim all across America.” - Matt Vossler, Co-Founder, SAA
Swim Across America, Inc., [SAA] is dedicated to raising money and awareness for cancer research, prevention and treatment through swimming- related events. With the help of hundreds of volunteers nationwide and past and current Olympians, SAA is helping find a cure for cancer through athleticism, community outreach and direct service. Founded in 1987, Swim Across America, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising money and awareness for cancer research, prevention and treatment through a variety of high profile, swim-related events. Since inception SAA has raised over $20 million nationally for recognized beneficiaries. The beneficiaries we support are closely tied to the communities that are currently hosting events - New York, Boston, San Francisco and Chicago. We welcome your contributions and thank you for joining us in this fight.
