| Greenwich / Stamford Swim June 26th, 2010

The Greenwich - Stamford Swim includes swimmers of all ages and skill levels. Participants choose their open-water distance: 1/2 mile, 1.5 mile or a 5-mile. We also offer opportunities to volunteer as a boater, kayaker or land volunteer. All proceeds from the swim benefit the Alliance for Cancer Gene Therapy, the nation’s only foundation dedicated exclusively to funding cancer gene therapy research.
Thank you and congratulations to all who participated in the 4th
annual Swim Across America Greenwich - Stamford swim on June 26th!
We had a beautiful, successful morning with over 200 swimmers on
the smooth waters of the Long Island Sound. Together, we all raised
over $300,000
in pledges for the Alliance for Cancer Gene Therapy - and the
checks are still coming in! We could not have done it without all the
tremendous support of the sponsors, boaters, kayakers, volunteers and
swimmers! Thanks again for all you do to support Swim Across America.
We hope to see you next year...
100% goes to our the Alliance for Cancer Gene Therapy: This year, all the costs of the event will be underwritten by generous sponsors. This means 100% of the money raised by the Greenwich - Stamford swim will go directly to ACGT to fund their valuable research efforts.
