Welcome to the Nassau / Suffolk county, NY homepage for Swim Across America (SAA). Our Group, the Nassau/Suffolk Committee of SAA was founded in 2001 by swimmers like you that wanted to “SWIM TO FIGHT CANCER”. Since then we have raised over $3.4 Million in support of our Beneficiaries.
Thank you to all who came out for our Inaugural Hamptons Swim on July 3rd!
In addition to our landmark Sound to the Cove Open Water Swim, Swim Across America was proud to join with the East Hampton Volunteer Ocean Rescue Squad to present the brand new "Hamptons Swim to Fight Cancer." This landmark open-water swim was located in Gardner's Bay in Amagensett, N.Y. where we expect to have raised in excess of $100,000 for cancer research, prevention, and treatment!
We will also host the NCAC Pool Swim and a Club Program to give swimmers of all abilities an opportunity to swim with SAA and FIGHT CANCER. See below for details.
