“Until there is a cure for cancer, there will always be a reason to swim all across America.” - Matt Vossler, Co-Founder, SAA
Hello Again Dear Friends and Family!
As you may remember, last year I could not make the annual one-mile swim for cancer due to a family wedding, but I am back and ready to do it again! While I was not an active participant in the effort in 2008, many of you continued your support of Swim Across America and generously gave to the organization and I greatly appreciated that.
Now, to make up for the lost time, I have decided to swim in both the 22-mile relay in Boston Harbor as well as the 1-mile Nantasket Beach Swim. This year will mark the 10th year I have participated in Swim Across America’s fundraisers and I am just as excited about it as the first time I did it.
To contribute online, please select the 'Support me,' link in the upper right hand corner. Your generous and thoughtful contribution is greatly appreciated by all at Swim Across America and the Perini Quality of Life Clinic at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and is tax-deductible. I deeply thank you again for you support of my swimming over the past decade for this worthwhile cause.
Sincerely,
Mike

About Swim Across America
Swim Across America, Inc., [SAA] is dedicated to raising money and awareness for cancer research, prevention and treatment through swimming- related events. With the help of hundreds of volunteers nationwide and past and current Olympians, SAA is helping find a cure for cancer through athleticism, community outreach and direct service. Since its inception in 1987, SAA has raised over $20 million nationally for recognized beneficiaries. The beneficiaries we support are closely tied to the communities that are currently hosting events - New York, Boston, San Francisco and Chicago. We welcome your contributions and thank you for joining us in this fight.
