Mike Bruner Mike Bruner competed in the 1976 and 1980 Olympic games and received a gold medal in the 200 m butterfly and the the 4 x 200 freestly relay in 1976. Among his many accomplishments, Bruner set a world record for the 200 m butterfly, was chosen swimmer of the year in 1980, and was indicuted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame in 1988.
