Nassau/Suffolk Home Welcome to the Long Island, NY homepage for Swim Across America (SAA). Our Group, the Nassau/Suffolk Committee of SAA was founded in 2001 by swimmers like you that wanted to “SWIM TO FIGHT CANCER”. Since then we have raised over $2.33 Million in support of our Beneficiaries. We conduct a major ‘Open Water Swim’, two Pool Swims and a Club Program to give swimmers of all abilities an opportunity to swim with SAA and FIGHT CANCER.
