“Until there is a cure for cancer, there will always be a reason to swim all across America.” - Matt Vossler, Co-Founder, SAA
Dear Friends,
Yard by yard, mile by mile, dollar by dollar, we can win this fight.
On June 26, 2010, I will swim a mile and a half, starting from Tod's point in Greenwich and ending just steps from my office in Stamford. This swim will be in memory of my sister, Cathy Denham, who died of metastatic breast cancer on April 21.
Please join me to make a difference in the fight against cancer. To learn more about the Alliance for Cancer Gene Therapy (the event's beneficiary), visit http://www.acgtfoundation.org/.
If you're focusing your charitable giving elsewhere, I always welcome your good wishes for warm water and a *complete* lack of jelly fish on the day of the swim!
All contributions are tax-deductible. If you would prefer to send a check, please make it payable to Swim Across America, and send it to Swim Across America, 14 Little Ridge Road, Ridgefield, CT 06877.
Love,
Patty
