Swim as a Team!
Honorary and Memorial Teams
Teams may be formed as corporate, honorary or memorial. Our honorary
teams recognize those who have conquered cancer or those who are
currently in treatment. Our memorial teams remember those who have lost
their battle with cancer.
Our corprorate teams reperesent the swimmers place of employment. All
teams are inspirational and rewarding for all of us involved with Swim Across America. Through swimming events such as ours, Teams clearly demonstrate our commitment to find a cure.
Boston businesses have always stepped forward to support Boston
residents. In the spirit of corporate citizenship, we are challenging
the Boston business community to join the Swim Across America in its fight against cancer.

Why Form a Team?
It is more fun to swim with friends and colleagues!
Teammates will motivate each other to train over the summer to be
ready for the swim. The team will set a positive, healthy example for
friends, family and co-workers.
Fellow employees will rally around
the team's fundraising efforts, especially if the team swims in the name
of a current or former employee.
Your company may support your fundraising efforts with a financial grant.
If your company has a matching gift program, all the donations from

How it Works
A team consisting of a minimum of 5 swimmers may swim in honor or
memory of a loved one or they may be a corporate team. Each team member is expected to raise the fundraising minimum.
Some teams wish to include volunteers as members of their team for
fundraising purposes. Swimmers may only swim on one team.
If you wish to organize a team, please register to swim and create a
new team. You will have a chance to create a team page on which you can
tell your team's story, share photos, and fundraise.
