Volunteer

Volunteers are the glue that holds our events together.

Land Volunteers: Land Volunteers staff all aspects of our event at ACGT and at the pool swim.  Volunteer check-in begins at 5:00 am with event set up, registration, and logistical support at the Finish Line on the beach and Awards Ceremony.  For more information, please contact sheila@swimacrossamerica.org.

Boaters: Boaters  provide crucial logistical support for all of our swimmers and Event Officials.  Our boaters line the perimeter of the swim lane and are available for additional support if needed.  For more information, please contact palmer@swimacrossamerica.org

Kayakers: Kayakers provide the first layer of safety for our swimmers. Kayakers patrol the swim lane, keep an active eye on all our swimmers, and communicate any swimmer issues to our event officials for immediate response.   For more information, please contact eanolan1@optonline.net
