Camille Wright (Thompson)

Camille Wright was a gold medalist at the 1975 Pan America Games in the 100 butterfly, 200 butterfly and 4x100 medley relay before heading to the Olympics the following summer. In Montreal in 1976, Wright placed fourth in the 100 butterfly and snagged an Olympic silver medal as a member of the 4x100 medley relay, along with teammates Laura Jezek, Lauri Siering and Shirley Babashoff. 

Raised in New Albany, Indiana, she married and became Camille Wright Thompson, and has participated in SAA's Seattle open water swim.
