Carlos Arena

Carlos Arena was a member of the Mexican Olympic Team in the 1996 Olympics held in Atlanta.  He is still the Mexican National record holder for the 100 and 200 meter backstroke.  He went to school in Texas and was a member of the 1996 NCAA National Champion Team.  He remains active in the sport of swimming and recently swam around Manhattan in a relay to raise money for the Right to Play.  Since 2004, Carlos has been helping Swim Across America in our efforts by swimming in our Long Island and Greenwich events.
