Jason Plummer
Jason Plummer is a former Australian freestyle swimmer who competed at
the 1988 Olympics in Seoul, where he was a member of the 4th place
finishing 800 freestyle relay and swam the 1500m freestyle. Prior to the 1988 Olympics he won silver in
the 400, 800 and 1500 meter freestyle at Australia’s National Championships,
and won gold at the Edinburgh Commonwealth Games. He backed up his Commonwealth gold with a national title in 1987 in the 1500 meter
freestyle, also taking bronze in the 200 and 400 meter freestyle. Later that year he won bronze in the
400 and 1500 meter freestyle at the Pan Pacific Championships.
After his successful swims for the Australian National team, Jason
moved to America where he studied and swam at Stanford University. He graduated in 1993 with a Bachelor of
Arts in Psychology. He earned his MBA from the University of California, Los
Angeles in 1998.
Jason is the founder and CEO of The Brass Ring, a privately owned
Australian distribution company.
