Kid's Splash!

Who: Children of participants, volunteers, and sponsors age 11 and younger. No fee, waiver must be signed for each kid swimmer and parent. Kids must be able to swim 50 meters to enter and swim. Parent acknowledgement on form.

What: Race course is from Luther Burbank park swim beach or Moses Lake swim beach, around Inflatable Palm Tree Islands that are positioned off the shore at approximately 25 meters, and 5 meters apart, and back to shore. Race course is clockwise direction. Shore finish will be separated from the start by 5 meters.

When: Starts at 9:45 AM, after ½ mile and just before complete completion of 2-mile swim, while timers are reconciling times.

Why: To get kid’s involved, aware and empowered about cancer research, helping others, and swimming.

Registration: Registration of all kids on event day only, and will involve signing a waiver, and acknowledgement of swimming competence by kids and parent. No fee for swimming the Kid’s Splash, swimmers will receive a swim cap which they must wear during the swim and body marking number J. Hand written list of swimmers will be kept by registration, by age group, and given to starter for heating.
