In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. I joined the SAA community so that, together, we can change that. I am challenging myself by swimming in the Atlanta Open Water Swim and raising as much money to fight cancer as I can. Please support me by sponsoring my swim and making a gift.
Our son, Jonas, lost his right eye to cancer in 2012. We swim for the research team that will receive this money in order to continue their potentially life saving work. Getting this team onward to a clinical trial is critical - so that children suffering now may have a chance to be a part of their clinical trial in the future. We've seen what our efforts can accomplish with Dr. MacDonald, who will be starting his clinical trial this fall. Let's raise as much money as we can and get this team working hard for our children.
The money you give will go towards cancer research, prevention and treatment and will make an impact in the fight to find a cure. Thank you for your generosity and may it lead to a cancer-free world!
