Baltimore Open Water Swim

Team ROCK ON

Welcome to Team ROCK ON's page! We have invited our friends and family to join us in this year's Baltimore Open Water Swim in memory of Cristy Rocks, who valiantly fought her battle with cancer for two years. Throughout this time, Cristy maintained her everlasting courage and humor while caring - and being cared - for all of those who loved her.

Cristy was an amazing mother to 4 children, Sammy, Emma, Hanna and Trevor, a loving wife to her husband, Tony, and a fantastic friend to anyone else who was blessed to know her. Over the course of 2 years, she also proved that she was an incredibly strong woman, and continually would get back up no matter how many times her disease tried to knock her down. Her family was truly heartbroken in May of last year when her fight finally came to an end. Come September, we want to show her just how many people were rooting for her in her fight by raising as much money as we can for the Baltimore Open Water Swim!

Please support us by sponsoring our swim and making a gift - the money that you give will go towards cancer research, prevention and treatment at the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, which is led by one of our mom's oncologists, Dr. Luis Diaz. Any amount will help us reach our team's goal of raising $75,000 in Cristy's memory!!

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit our page! Feel free to take a look at some of our members' pages to read their stories or if you'd like to make a donation on behalf of a specific member.
