Craig Cioffari passed away in March 2017 from a year-long battle with Pancreatic Cancer. He was a volunteer for the Long Island Sound Swim Across America since it started in 1992, in memory of his best friend, Kathy Webers.
An avid fisherman, often referred to as "Captain Craig", Craig loved nothing more than waking up at 4 AM to take his Boston Whaler on the Sound in search of Striped Bass.
We are so grateful for the incredible staff that Craig befriended at Memorial Sloan Kettering during the last year of his life, finding ways to make them laugh even during the hardest of times.
His sense of humor will live on forever, as will his family and friend's love for him.
Please support us by sponsoring our swim and making a gift. The money you give will go towards cancer research, prevention and treatment and will make an impact in the fight to find a cure.
Thank you for your generosity and may it lead to a cancer-free world!
WE LOVE YOU DAD!!
