Sound to Cove Open Water Swim

TEAM STACEY

Please join us for the 10th annual TEAM STACEY swim, held in memory of Stacey Rose Leondis. The Sound to Cove swim will take place on Saturday, August 4th at Morgan Park.  Since 2009, Team Stacey has raised $893,295 for cancer research, treatment & prevention, help us continue our fight!

Stacey was a beautiful, smart and exuberant young woman.  Stacey was diagnosed with osteosarcoma when she was 16 years old and passed away at the young age of 23.  During those seven years, she graduated high school, graduated Yale University and was accepted to Mount Sinai medical school.

We swim, volunteer, kayak for Stacey and for SO many families and friends who are battling cancer. Help us raise funds for cancer research- for those we've lost, for those in treatment and for all survivors! Join, volunteer, donate!

This year, we will swim harder holding on to the memory of two VERY special people that were so dear to us-

An incredible and inspirational young man, Bobby Menges and our dear friend Debbie Amodeo-

In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. We joined the SAA community so that, together, we can change that. We are challenging ourselves by swimming in the Sound to Cover Swim and raising as much money to fight cancer as we can. Please support us by sponsoring our swim and making a gift. The money you give will go towards cancer research, prevention and treatment and will make an impact in the fight to find a cure.  Thank you for your generosity and may it lead to a cancer-free world!

You can make a credit card donation by clicking on one of the members of our team below, or send a check to Swim Across America, .
