Join Team Swim Across America June 8th through 13th in Grand Cayman! The Cayman Islands, located in the beautiful Caribbean Sea with crystal clear waters, provides the perfect setting for Team SAA to make waves to fight cancer.

Several SAA Olympians will be swimming in the world famous Flowers Sea Swim.  We invite you to join the swim with them and use the experience to raise funds to support Swim Across America and cutting edge cancer research.

DETAILS: Travel to the Cayman Islands to join SAA Olympians swimming in the 1 mile Flowers Sea Swim, 5K, 10K, or a UANA 2.5K or 5K relay and related events. Join our Swim Across America Team and use the swim as way to fight cancer by fundraising to support clinical trials and cancer research at our Swim Across America Labs.

  • Swimmers should be experienced swimming in open water and must sign a waiver prior to competing.
  • Swimmers must have a valid Passport for travel to Grand Cayman.

FUNDRAISING: The suggested fundraising goal for this event is $2,500. Visit our fundraising tips page for help reaching your fundraising goal. For swimmers who raise $4,000, SAA will cover the cost of your hotel room at the Westin - Grand Cayman. For those who raise over $5,000, your flight will be covered.

VENUE: The Cayman Islands are located in the Western Caribbean, 480 miles south of Miami, Florida. The largest of the three islands is Grand Cayman (approx 76 sq mi). The Cayman Islands are an Overseas Territory of the United Kingdom.

GETTING THERE: Grand Cayman lies 1 hour due south of Miami by air and is served by several international airlines connecting through the United States, England, Canada, Jamaica, Cuba and Honduras. The airport code for Owen Roberts International Airport on Grand Cayman is GCM.
