In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. Cancer touches all of us - we have lost family and friends, but we have also watched loved ones battle and win. The Connecticut College Men's and Women's swim teams are joining together as the CC Camels to prove that we can indeed swim to fight cancer. Swimming is something we know we are a good at - using our passion for swimming as an avenue to help is motivation in itself. In the past 2 years, the CC Women's swim team have made almost 30 blankets for pediatric cancer patients through the Cure4CAM Childhood Cancer Foundation which were donated to the Yale Pediatric Cancer Center. The Camels are inspired to save lives and will continue to do so until we find the cure! We are challenging ourselves by swimming in the Rhode Island Open Water Swim and raising as much money to fight cancer as we can. Please support us by sponsoring our swim and making a gift. The money you give will go towards cancer research, prevention and treatment and will make an impact in the fight to find a cure. Thank you for your generosity and may it lead to a cancer-free world!
