The University of Missouri swim team will be participating in the 2nd annual SAA St. Louis swim. Nearly 50% of Americans will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Proceeds from SAA St. Louis will be used to fund research and clinic trials at the world-renowned Siteman Cancer Center in St. Louis. Many of us will be participating as "angel" swimmers meaning we will swim side-by-side encouraging other participants on their swim. The rest of our team will be participating in the swim and helping to encourage other participants.
Keep and eye out for our Head Coach, Greg Rhodenbaugh, he may be dusting off some old goggles and getting his toes wet for a change.
We are honored to support the cause of Making Waves to Fight Cancer. All donations are 100% tax deductible.
Swim Across America, Inc., [SAA] is dedicated to raising money and awareness for cancer research through swimming-related events. With the help of volunteers and more than 100 Olympians, SAA is helping find a cure for cancer.
