For the eighth consecutive year, in September, I will participate in the Baltimore Pool Swim to Fight Cancer.
Unfortunately, unlike past years, this year I am swimming to honor the memory of my wonderful sister-in-law, Deb Strauss, who lost her battle with cancer after almost 30 years. Fortunately, she enjoyed a great quality of life for most of those years. I am also swimming to honor many other family and friends who have been touched by cancer.
The funds raised will support cancer research, prevention and treatment at the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins. This link will take you to a list of accomplishments of the Hopkins Swim Across America lab since its inception,
If you would like to support me in my swimming and fundraising efforts by making a donation, you can make a credit card donation here, (please click on the "DONATE NOW" box above), or send a check made payable to Swim Across America, c/o Meadowbrook Swim Club, PO Box 10493, Baltimore, MD 21209. Please also mention that you are supporting my swim.
I would be most grateful if you would help support me in this effort. All donations are tax-deductible and every dollar makes a difference!
Thank you for helping me 'Make Waves to Fight Cancer.'
