Dallas Pool Swim

What: A fundraising pool swim for the whole family! Whether you are on a swim team or swim recreationally, join us for a morning full of fun, family and swimming. Swimmers can choose to swim a 1/2 mile, 1 mile or participate as part of a relay. Teams will swim relay style with fun relay legs included throughout the event. Individuals who would like to participate will be placed on teams with other individuals or incorporated into existing teams.
Pool Swim Format: Swimmers can choose to swim a 1/2 mile, 1 mile or form relay teams.
Relay Format: Choose a 1/2 mile or 1 mile distance. You can have up to eight people on your relay team and you are free to break up the distance however you wish. Name your relay team and swim in honor of a friend or family member who is a cancer patient or survivor. You can also swim in memory of a loved one who has lost their battle with cancer.
When: Sunday, June 9th, 8:00 check in
9:00 am start - welcome
9:15 am - 1/2 mile and 1 mile swimmers
10:15 am - Relay swimmers
11:15 am - 12:00 noon - Post swim celebration
You will have the option to choose a time preference during the registration process. Please understand that we will do our best to accomodate your preference, but cannot guarantee that time availability.

How to Join: Register as an individual in the upper right hand corner of this page. Create a team or join a team by clicking on the corresponding button on the right to register. Teams can have as many as 8 people on them.
Fundraising: There is a $25 registration fee which will go toward your fundraising. We encourage all swimmers to raise $100. Many will raise more, but if everyone raises at least $100 we can make a big impact in the fight against cancer in our community.
Fundraising Incentives: Every swimmer who participates will receive a Swim Across America cap and tshirt. Swimmers who raise $500 will get a Swim Across America towel.
Beneficiary: The money raised will support phase 1 clinical trials at The Innovative Clinical Trials Center at The Baylor Charles A. Sammons Cancer Center in Dallas. Click here to learn more about our local beneficiary.
