Join the Rockville Links Pool Swim as they swim to Fight Cancer with Swim Across America. Swim Across America raises funds to help find a cure for cancer. The Rockville Pool Swim is a part of the Nassau / Suffolk Chapter of Swim Across America. Since their inception in 2001, the Nassau / Suffolk Chapter of Swim Across America has raised over $12,000,000 for cancer research, prevention and treatment.

ABOUT THE EVENT

WHAT: Join us for a fundraising swim right here in Rockville Centre. Proceeds raised help fund cancer research at local hospitals and cancer centers.

In 2023, the Rockville pool swim raised over $12,800 to fund cancer research, treatment and prevention. Help us raise even more money this year for our local beneficiaries.

HOW TO JOIN: Click the register button in the middle of this page and get your own fundraising page to send out to your friends and family.

All swimmers and volunteers must complete the waiver found here and bring to the event check-in. If you are under 18, please bring the waiver signed by a parent or guardian.

FUNDRAISING: We encourage swimmers to each raise at least $100. Many will raise more but if everyone raises $100, our swim could raise thousands to support cancer research, prevention and treatment.

Encouraged fundraising minimums are:

  • Child (Under 18) - $100
  • Adult (18 or Over) - $250

All swimmers will receive:

  • SAA T-Shirt and Swim Cap
  • If greater than $250 Raised - an SAA Towel

WaveMaker Swimmer: $1,000 minimum:

WaveMakers are elite SAA fundraisers and go above and beyond the call of duty by pledging to raise at least $1,000 regardless of your age. You can sign up for any of the swim distances. WaveMakers get an exclusive WM gift on event day.
