Join the Dophins Swim Team as they swim to raise money to support cancer research with Swim Across America! This swim is a part of the Nassau / Suffolk Chapter of Swim Across America. Since their inception in 2001, the Nassau / Suffolk Chapter of Swim Across America has donated over $5,100,000 to cancer research, prevention and treatment.
Proceeds from the swim will support immunotherapy research at the Swim Across America Laboratory at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, lung cancer clinical trials at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, pediatric brain cancer research at the Feinstein Institute of North Shore and pediatric oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Children's Cancer Hospital.

HOW TO JOIN: Click the register button in the middle of this page and get your own fundraising page to send out to your friends and family. All swimmers and volunteers must complete the waiver found here and bring to the event check-in. If you are under 18, please bring the waiver signed by a parent or guardian.
FUNDRAISING: We encourage swimmers to each raise at least $100. Many will raise more but if everyone raises $100, our swim could raise thousands to support cancer research, prevention and treatment.

WaveMakers are elite SAA fundraisers. All swimmers raise at least $100, but WaveMakers (WM) go above and beyond the call of duty by pledging to raise at least $1000. WMs get an exclusive WM prize, earned by all SAA WaveMakers across the country.
