Long Island Swim School - Syosset
The week of October 1 - 7, 2017 will be LIAC's Swim Across America week. Swimmers who participate will dedicate a lesson, practice, set, or the entire week, towards the fight against cancer. Our goal is for the Swim Schools to raise $10,000!
This is really about doing something for a fantastic cause, but we do want to recognize your hard work and commitment to fundraising. Swimmers who raise the minimum of $100 will receive a t-shirt and cap and those who raise $500 or more will receive a towel.
Long Island Swimming has been involved with Swim Across America since 2001 and has raised over $200,000 to fight cancer in that time. All it takes is each of us doing just a little bit to reach our goal!
In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. We joined the SAA community so that, together, we can change that. We are challenging ourselves by swimming in the Long Island Swimming Pool Swim and raising as much money to fight cancer as we can. Please support us by sponsoring our swim and making a gift. The money you give will go towards cancer research, prevention and treatment and will make an impact in the fight to find a cure. Thank you for your generosity and may it lead to a cancer-free world!
