Nantucket Island Open Water Swim

Saturday, August 23rd, 2014

Thank you to everyone who came out for our annual Nantucket Island Swim! We had a great day on Jetties Beach with all of our amazing swimmers and volunteers! Together we raised over $225,000 for on-island cancer care!

Join swimmers of all ages and skill levels for the SAA - Nantucket Island Open Water Swim along the shores of beautiful Jetties Beach. Choose either the 1/2 mile or 1 mile options, or join the Kids' Splash.

Proceeds from the swim will support cancer treatment and patient care at Nantucket Cottage Hospital and Palliative and Supportive Care of Nantucket (PASCON).

All swimmers raise money to support the cause, and those who feel particularly motivated to raise even more, can register as WaveMaker Swimmers. We welcome you to help us "Make Waves to Fight Cancer!"

Click here to listen to Dr. Margot Hartmann from Nantucket Cottage Hospital explain why YOU should be swimming with us on August 23rd!
