A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a charitable giving account that provides an immediate tax benefit to you and allows you to recommend grants to your favorite charities.
Swim Across America accepts gifts through all donor-advised funds. Gifts can be made to Swim Across America or to the fundraising efforts of individual participants, teams or communities. If you currently have a donor-advised fund through Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, or BNY Mellon Charitable, you may use DAFDirect. Otherwise, select your financial institution below and log into your account to request a grant. If your donor-advised fund is not listed below, contact your financial advisor or fund manager to recommend a grant to Swim Across America.

Designate Swim Across America As Your DAF Beneficiary
Just as you can include a charity as a beneficiary of your IRA or insurance policy, you can name Swim Across America as the successor beneficiary of your Donor Advised Fund. In addition, you can leave instructions for your fund’s successor advisor to make grants to Swim Across America. Please contact us to inform us about your gift so we can acknowledge that you’ve added us to your estate plans.
To help you facilitate a gift from a donor-advised fund, please email Janel McArdle for our account information and instructions.
Swim Across America is a registered 501(c)3 with the IRS. Our tax ID is 22-3248256. All online donors receive an e-receipt and all donations greater than $100 receive a calendar year end mailed tax receipt.
