In 2009 my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer and given 6 months to 4 years to live. Through the use of leading edge experimental treatments, he was able to live until April of 2023
.
Without the support of organizations like Swim Across America, I would have been denied 10 extra years with my dad. For that I am eternally grateful.
I have been involved with Swim Across America for 13 years and cannot speak highly enough about the work they do.
