Hi! My name is Maddie and this is my 6th year swimming and fundraising for the Swim Across America event!  I am registered to swim the 5k and this year I will swim in memory of my Uncle Jim.  Uncle Jim lost his battle to lung cancer in August of this year.  This year swimming for a cure means that much more to me!  

I am excited to get in the water because I get to do what I love while giving back. This year, I swim for a cure, to fight against this dreaded disease. I swim for all of those who can’t and in the words of the Grateful Dead, my uncles favorite band, we all “just keep truckin’ on” looking for a cure!  Please consider making a donation if you can and thank you for your continued support throughout the years.
