PLEASE HELP ME as i step out of my swimming comfort zone (again)! I am doing my 4th OPEN WATER SWIM and my second 5-K swim to help those fighting against cancer! I love this cause and everything it fights for - so this year I applied and was selected to the SAA Jr Advisory Board as well as the Swim Atlanta Team Captain.
This year I am again swimming for our good family friend, Jeremy Brown. In Sept 2019 - right before last years swim - Jeremy was diagnosed with a rare & aggressive form of stomach cancer. Unfortunately - On Feb 13, 2020, he lost his fight against this dreaded disease. We are all devestated. Please help find a cure!
In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. I joined the SAA community so that, together, we can change that. I am challenging myself by swimming in the Atlanta Open Water Swim and raising as much money to fight cancer as I can.
Please support me by sponsoring my swim and making a donation. All of your donations (big or small) benefit the Aflac Cancer Research Center to impact those who are suffering. It also helps fund prevention and new treatments and will make an impact in the fight to find a cure. Thank you for your generosity and may it lead to a cancer-free world!
You can make a credit card donation here, or send a check to Swim Across America, c/o Nancy Peek, PO Box 1078, Tucker, GA 30085.
Check should be made out to Swim Across America but please include a note mentioning my name as the swimmer you are supporting!
