Hi! My name is Zack. This is my third year participating in SAA. I am a year round swimmer at Chattahoochee Gold. I am a 9th grader at Walton High School. I joined Swim Across America because of my love of swimming and my hate of cancer.
This year, I swim in honor of Grace Bunke, who lost her life last year after battling with cancer for many years. She sadly passed just short of her 15th birthday. This year, and every year from now on, I will swim for Grace! From the moment I get in the water to the moment I get out, I swim for Grace. With funds of this event, the hope is that the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorder Center at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta will find a cure for cancer to stop cancer once and for all !!
In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. I joined the SAA community so that, together, we can change that. I am challenging myself by swimming in the Atlanta Open Water Swim and raising as much money as I can to fight cancer. Please support me by sponsoring my swim and making a donation . The money you give will go towards cancer research, prevention and treatment and will make an impact in the fight to find a cure for cancer. Thank you for your generosity and may it lead to a cancer-free world!
You can make a credit card donation here, or send a check to Swim Across America, c/o Nancy Peek, PO Box 1078, Tucker, GA 30085.
Check should be made out to Swim Across America but please include a note mentioning my name (Zachary Goldstein) as the swimmer you are supporting!!
I want to thank you guys again so much for taking the time out of your day to support me and such an amazing cause!
