In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. I joined the SAA community so that, together, we can change that. This year I am on the Junior Advisory board for this swim. I am so excited to become a larger part of this important effort. I am challenging myself by swimming in the Atlanta Open Water Swim (5k) and raising as much money to fight cancer as I can. The Atlanta swim donates all of its proceeds to the Childrens' Healthcare of Atlanta, specfically acute myeloid leukemia. About 16,000 children are diagnosed yearly and it is one of the least funded forms of cancer. Swim Across Amercia Atlanta strives to change that! Please support me by sponsoring my swim and making a gift. The money you give will go towards cancer research, prevention and treatment and will make an impact in the fight to find a cure. Thank you for your generosity and may it lead to a cancer-free world!
You can make a credit card donation here, or send a check to Swim Across America, c/o Nancy Peek, PO Box 1078, Tucker, GA 30085.
Check should be made out to Swim Across America but please include a note mentioning my name, Camille Messonnier, as the swimmer you are supporting!
