I first got involved with Swim Across America in 2021. I had heard of it from my swim team and it seemed like the perfect way to raise money for such a good cause and combine my love for swimming. In my family both of my grandpa’s have suffered from cancer and we lost my grandpa last year. My aunt also fought and beat breast cancer. It has been such a meaningful way to honor them these past few years by being involved with SAA. This year will be my fourth swim and my second year on the junior advisory board. I am grateful for these past few years with SAA and I can’t wait for this years swim!
