I joined Swim Across America in a mile swim on Sept. 23 to raise money and awareness for cancer.  In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. 

 I am also dedicating this race to two close friends that I've lost to cancer this year.
