I am excited to be apart of the Junior Advisory Board for Swim Across America-Atlanta and co-captain Team Smasherson for the 2nd year now!  It combines my love of swimming with my passion for finding a cure for childhood cancer.  

Team Smasherson is in honor of one of my best friends Emerson Podojil who passed away from Glioblastoma at the end of 5th grade.  She fought for 10 hard months after she was diagnosed and was taken way too soon. I want to ensure we find a cure for cancer so no other kids, families and friends endure the pain we have.  

Come swim with us!  It will be super fun! Recruit your friends to join our team too!  The more the merrier!! 

All the money raised will go to CHOA's Aflac Center where Emerson's doctor conducts research on brain tumors.
