My name is Keren, and I’m 15 years old. I joined Swim Across America because I love swimming and when I was younger I was diagnosed with cancer. I have fought cancer twice now and I have watched many other kids fight for their lives. I have lived through it and seen it, I know without this organization and those like it that I could have died. So  now I want to give back. What is SAA? Founded in 1987, Swim Across America has hosted charity swims with one goal: to raise money for innovative cancer research that would lead to breakthrough treatments and therapies. Since then, Swim Across America has raised over $100M to fund the next generation of pioneers in oncology and cancer-support care.
