Welcome to My Personal Page
Founded in 1987, Swim Across America has hosted charity swims with one goal: to raise money for innovative cancer research that would lead to breakthrough treatments and therapies. Since then, Swim Across America has raised over $100M to fund the next generation of pioneers in oncology and cancer-support care.
I joined Swim Across America because I believe in their mission and want to help give more families hope. I find it amazing that SAA incorporates swimming into something that will benefit so many people. If you are able, please support me by making a donation to help me reach my fundraising goal.
I am swimming for my grandmother, who passed away a few weeks ago due to endometrial cancer that spread to her stomach and lungs. She had previously fought, and won, breast cancer back in 2020. We got the call in July that she had stage-3 cancer again. Within a few days, it was stage-4 cancer, and she was hospitalized. Only about two weeks later, she passed away surrounded by her family, and I know wherever she is right now, she is making people smile. She is one of the most important figures in my life and has provided me with strong female role model that I have looked up to my entire life.
My grandmother loved the work I was doing with SAA, and I will honor her when I swim in Lake Lanier in September. If you can, please donate to help advance cancer research and help this amazing cause.
Thank you for helping me #MakeWavesToFightCancer.
