My name is Grace and I love to swim!  This weekend I plan put my swimming talents to work to help cure childhood cancer!  A dear friend of mine, Nick, is currently battling Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.  He is 10 years old and goes to my school.  He and his family are very close friends with my family.  On Saturday morning (my birthday) I plan to get up super early and swim 1 mile in the chilly open water of Lake Lanier in honor of Nick and all those children who should never have to face this horrible disease.  Will you please support me in this mission by making a small donation to help me meet my fundraising goal?

Founded in 1987, Swim Across America has hosted charity swims with one goal: to raise money for innovative cancer research that would lead to breakthrough treatments and therapies. Since then, Swim Across America has raised over $100M to fund the next generation of pioneers in oncology and cancer-support care.
