Atlanta Open Water Swim

Saint Stephen's Episcopal School

Saint Stephen's Episcopal School, located in Bradenton, Florida, had the pleasure of attending the Swim Across America Atlanta event in 2017 and 2018, as well as the Tampa event in 2018. The organization was introduced to us by our coach, Sheri Hart, who has been involved in Swim Across America Atlanta since its infancy. On top of her commitment to Swim Across America, Coach Hart has been the driving force behind the Saint Stephen's swim program. As a team, we've raised $57,996 between the last three events, and the team would now like to raise another $25,000 for the 2019 SAA Atlanta event. This year, the team will be swimming in honor of Mrs. Karen Schultes, a beloved member of our school community and wife to SSES athletic trainer, and former 3rd grade teacher, Brian Shultes, who trains our team during the summer before our season. Karen has been fighting stage 4 Melanoma for 14 years now, and as part of our mission in fundraising this year, we would also like to promote awareness for her form of cancer. Please join the Saint Stephen's team and Swim Across America community in working together to raise money and put a stop to this disease.

You can make a credit card donation by clicking on one of the members of our team below, or send a check to Swim Across America, c/o Nancy Peek, PO Box 1078, Tucker, GA 30085.

Check should be made out to Swim Across America but please include a note mentioning our team or the swimmer you are supporting!

If you have any questions regarding Saint Stephen's team or our fundraising goals, contact team captain Caroline Kelly at or Nicky Mattheys at
