Team Smasherson is in honor of Emerson Podojil who passed away from Glioblastoma at the end of 5th grade.  She fought for 10 hard months after she was diagnosed and was taken way too soon. Its been a painful four years.  We want to ensure we find a cure for cancer so no other kids, families and friends endure the pain we have.  

Come swim with us!  We will have a super fun team.  All ages and skill levels. You don't need to be a year round swimmer.  Recruit your friends to join our team too!  The more the merrier.  

All the money raised will go to CHOA's Aflac Center where Emerson's doctor conducts research on brain tumors.
