Founded in 1987, Swim Across America has hosted charity swims with one goal: to raise money for innovative cancer research that would lead to breakthrough treatments and therapies. Since then, Swim Across America has raised over $100M to fund the next generation of pioneers in oncology and cancer-support care. All donations from the Atlanta event go to supporting pediatric cancer research at The Aflac Cancer Center at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta/Emory University. 

The 2023 Atlanta Open Water Swim will take place at Lake Lanier Olympic Park on September 23rd. 

The North Springs High School HOSA Club will be supporting as volunteers at the event.
