Hello,

My name is JD Corb. I’m doing Swim Across America this year. It is my 7th time participating in this event. I am swimming 3 miles this year, same as last year! Swim Across America is supporting people who are diagnosed with cancer and Swim Across America is a fundraiser to raise money for cancer research. I am doing Swim Across America for my brother Michael died of cancer at 9 months old and it was an unfortunate loss for my family and I don't want any other families to feel the same way.

The money from my swim goes to Johns Hopkins Hospital. I am doing Swim Across America because I want to help people with cancer. I want to raise $10,000 for cancer research. The swim is in September but your donations can continue to support for long after.

In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. I joined the SAA community so that, together, we can change that.
