Welcome to My Personal Page
In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. I joined the Swim Across America community so that, together, we can change that. I am swimming on Sunday, September 17th to support the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center in its 50th Anniversary year.
Last summer I trained with Swim Across America and completed my first open-water mile swim in Maryland. It was so much fun - hard, but fun! I overcame (somewhat) my fear of opaque water and built my endurance for the swim. And, I met a lot of really nice people who are committed to curing cancer.
If you are able, please support me in my swim by making a gift. And, if I may swim in your honor, or in memory of someone, please let me know. (One of the most impactful aspects of the swim was swimming with names written on my back in Sharpie.)
Your gift makes a difference. The researchers we are funding are the next generation of cancer pioneers. Without Swim Across America's early-stage funding, they are not able to conduct trials that can lead to breakthroughs that can save lives.
Thank you for helping make an impact in the fight to find a cure!
