Welcome to My Personal Page
Founded in 1987, Swim Across America has hosted charity swims with one goal: to raise money for innovative cancer research that would lead to breakthrough treatments and therapies. Since then, Swim Across America has raised over $100M to fund the next generation of pioneers in oncology and cancer-support care.
I joined Swim Across America because I believe in their mission and want to help give more families hope. My daughter Paxton, and her UMB DPT cohort, raised tons of money and swam together with their awesome anatomy Professor last Fall. They've all inspired me, and now I can't wait to take part in this incredible cause. While I'll possibly be the slowest swimmer out there, it's a challenge I'm willingly taking. Seeing the young adult swimmers with temporary tattoos on their arms and legs of loved one's names (so many with 'Mom') brought tears to my eyes and I was so proud of each and every one of them. If you are able, please support me by making a donation to help me reach my fundraising goal or join our Team and come be brave and swim with me!
Thank you for helping me #MakeWavesToFightCancer.
