Here is a little bit about our team, Team Pierce Daddy, and why we come out each year to participate in this amazing event. This year the open water swim is on Sunday, 9/15 2019.
Many of us know people in our lives that have been effected by cancer in some way. For many of the LBA swimmers, this event is close to our heart as we have been raising funds for SAA since the inaugural Baltimore open water swim in 2010. Our support has only grown over the years and we became a united force in honor of the beloved Coach Pierce. Since his battle with cancer, we have taken on the name Team Pierce Daddy which remembers his legacy and the legacy of all the other cancer victims who are fighting the battle of their lives.
At this point we are looking to build our team. To join team Pierce Daddy clink on the link below and follow the directions, please send this link to all your friends and family who may be interested in this swim fundraiser. You do not need to be a member of LBA to join our team. Ask your summer swim-team mates to join. If you are not available to do to do the open water swim on 9/15, please consider sponsoring Team Pierce Daddy by making a donation. There is plenty to fundraise or to save your coins every dollar makes a difference. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated. The money you give will go towards cancer research, prevention and treatment and will make an impact in the fight to find a cure. Thank you for your generosity and may it lead to a cancer-free world!
You can make a credit card donation by clicking the link below or go to SAA Baltimore and select an individual team member from our team.
