I swim in the Harbor each year to honor and remember my friends who have battled and are battling cancer. I am humbled by their fortitude and spirit and also by their supportive families. Each year I pray to not know any new friends that have been diagnosed with this terrible disease, but unfortunately this is never the case. This year I am swimming to honor my Mom, my very brave friend, Van and his family, and in memory of my dear friend and swimming buddy, Eddie.
I joined the SAA community so that, together, we can change the future for these dear friends and many more. I am challenging myself by swimming in the Boston Harbor and raising as much money to fight cancer as I can. Please support me by sponsoring my swim and making a gift. The money you give will go towards cancer research, prevention and treatment and will make an impact in the fight to find a cure. Thank you for your generosity and may it lead to a cancer-free world!
