Dear Friends & Family,
Yes, Spring is almost here and that means SAA Team Relay Challenge is just around the corner.
What: The annual Team Relay Challenge brings swimmers of all ages together to swim the farthest they can in 2 hours while raising money to defeat cancer and support Swim Across America!
When: Saturday, April 28th
Why: It seems cancer never takes a break. This year I am swimming in memory of my Uncle Joe and my cousin, his son, Skip. We are Singleton Strong. They were kind, caring, wonderful men and we miss them every day. The Dana- Farber, Perini Quality of Life Clinic and MassGeneral Hospital for Children's Cancer Center are two amazing Boston resources and I'm in the lucky position to help to make a difference. Thank you for making this possible.
How: There are three easy ways to get involved:
1) Join my team and sign up to SWIM
2) Help at the event as a VOLUNTEER, or
3) Show your support for the cause and DONATE.
Swimming keeps me happy, healthy and sane - it's also my home away from home! I remain grateful each and every day.
The money you give will go towards cancer research, prevention and treatment and will make an impact in the fight to find a cure. Thank you for your generosity and may it lead to a cancer-free world! Please consider joining me however you can, and thank you in advance!
Here's to spring!
