In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. I joined the Swim Across America community so that, together, we can change that. 

This year, I'll be swimming for my father-in-law, Tom, who was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer and is undergoing treatment this spring. His diagnosis was a reminder of how important the Swim Across America organization is in the fight against cancer and I'm so glad to be a part of the Boston swim.
