On Sat August 12th I will be participating in Swim Across America with some fellow alums on the Boston College Eagles team and hope you will consider supporting me.  

Swim Across America was started many years ago by two of my BC '84 classmates to raise money for cancer research, treatment and prevention, with a particular focus on funding higher risk, early-stage research which traditional funding sources often avoid.  Expanding nationally over the years this tremendous charity has raised over $100 million for early-stage cancer drug and treatment research. The money raised locally stays local and this year the funds will go to researchers at Dana Farber Institue and Mass General Center for Children.

No one reading this has been unaffected, directly or indirectly, by cancer.  In our lifetime, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer.  Any amount helps - thank you!
