2024 Boston Open Water Swim

Jen's Friends

Help us raise funds on August 10, 2024 for cancer research and prevention to benefit Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Mass General Hospital for Children Cancer Center.

I'm the captain of Jen's Friends and our team consists of swimmers and volunteers Making Waves to Fight Cancer at the 1/2 mile, 1 mile, and 2 mile swim event at Pleasure Bay's Castle Island this year.

We participate as a team because a group makes a bigger splash than as separate individuals. We participate to recognize the coaches, teammates, and friends who have made an impression on us throughout our years of training. We participate to honor those fighting valiantly with the belief that they deserve more time to leave their mark in the world. We participate in memory of friends and family who sadly lost their battle with cancer before the medical advances of today--the exact reason why early-stage funding for cancer research is so important toward securing larger grants down the road. We participate to enjoy the beautiful outdoors, to be inspired by amazing stories, and to do something we love.

Thank you for your support! To make a donation, either click on the "Donate" button, or send a check payable to "Swim Across America" with the name of the swimmer you're supporting, and mail to:
